How does VR Fire Safety Training work and is it right for your team?

Standard fire safety training documents attendance. FEVR documents whether the training produced a measurable outcome — and where it didn't.
Most compliance-driven fire extinguisher programs issue a certificate at the end of an instructor-led session. That certificate confirms the employee attended. It does not confirm the employee can correctly operate an extinguisher under pressure. FEVR (Fire Extinguishing VR) Training is an immersive VR training application on the EXR Manager built to close that gap.
How VR Fire Safety Training Works
FEVR places each trainee in an interactive VR fire safety training scenario requiring sequential decisions: identify the fire class, select the correct extinguisher, and execute the PASS technique in order. The simulation does not advance until each step is completed correctly.
Every session captures goal completion status, decision accuracy, sequence errors, and response time stored in the EXR Manager's Reports module and accessible in near real-time. This gives the individual immediate feedback without requiring an instructor to be present for debriefing.
For organizations running an LMS, session data syncs automatically via the EXR Platform API — SCORM-compliant completions, scores, and user activity write directly to existing dashboards with no manual export required.
Attendance records confirm training occurred. FEVR session data confirms the training produced a measurable outcome — and identifies precisely where it did not.
Group Facilitator mode supports team or classroom sessions under a single facilitator, with individual performance data captured per participant. Certificates of Completion generate automatically and are downloadable or emailable directly from the user record in the EXR Manager.
FEVR is available now on the EXR Manager. Start with a free Standard account at xrmanager.elitexr.com or contact the team at social@elitexr.com for Enterprise and hardware inquiries.
