4 min read

A customized Metaverse helps users know they are in the right Elite XR space as soon as they enter. In EXR Manager, eligible organizations can update the visual identity of their Metaverse with a logo, header banner, display name, description, and available color options.

This guide explains how to customize exr metaverse branding from inside EXR Manager, what to prepare before you start, and how to check that the final result looks correct for users.

Prepare your visual assets before updating your Metaverse.

Before you start

Before changing your Metaverse appearance, make sure your organization has access to the customization features.

Metaverse customization is available with Professional and Enterprise subscriptions. If you do not see the Metaverse settings described in this guide, your account may not have the required subscription level or permissions.

It also helps to prepare your assets ahead of time. Gather the following items before you begin:

  • Your organization’s logo image

  • A header banner image

  • The display name you want users to see

  • A short Metaverse description

  • Brand colors or preferred color values, if available

Use clear, appropriately sized images whenever possible. A logo that is too small may look blurry. A banner that is poorly cropped may not display well across different screen sizes.

1. Log in to your EXR Manager account

Start by signing in to your EXR Manager account.

Use an account that has permission to manage organization or Metaverse settings. Once signed in, take a moment to confirm that you are working in the correct organization account. This matters if you manage more than one organization or environment.

2. Select Metaverse from the left-hand sidebar

After logging in, look at the left-hand sidebar and select Metaverse.

This section contains the settings used to control how your Elite XR Metaverse appears to users. The exact layout may vary slightly depending on your account setup, but the Metaverse area is where you will manage the main appearance options.

If you are following this guide to learn how to customize the exr metaverse, this is the key area where most of the work happens.

3. Upload your organization’s logo

Upload your organization’s logo in the Logo field.

For best results, use a high-quality image that remains clear and recognizable within the Metaverse interface.

Recommended dimensions:

  • Width: 1536 px

  • Height: 256 px

Use a clean, high-resolution logo and check that it displays correctly after uploading.

4. Upload your header banner

Next, upload your organization’s banner in the Header Banner field.

Choose a wide image that reflects your organization’s branding and complements your logo.

Recommended dimensions:

  • Width: 2500 px

  • Height: 225 px

For the best results, use a high-quality image designed for this wide, horizontal format. Avoid placing important text or visual elements too close to the edges.

After uploading, review the banner to ensure it displays as expected within your Metaverse.

5. Enter your display name and description

Enter the display name you want users to see when they access your Metaverse.

This name should be clear, recognizable, and easy to read. In most cases, the best choice is the official name of your organization, department, program, or training environment.

Keep the name concise. Long names may be harder to display cleanly across menus, headers, or mobile views.

Next, add a description for your Metaverse. The description should explain what the space is for. Keep it short and useful. Users should be able to understand the purpose of the Metaverse without needing extra instructions.

6. Customize the available colors

Use the color customization options to match your organization’s visual style.

Depending on your EXR Manager settings, you may be able to adjust selected interface colors. Choose colors that feel consistent with your organization while still keeping the experience readable.

If your organization has brand guidelines, use them as your reference. If not, choose simple colors that are easy on the eyes and do not compete with the content inside the Metaverse.

7. Preview your changes

Before saving or sharing the updated Metaverse, preview your changes if the option is available.

Check the main areas users are likely to see first:

  • Logo placement

  • Header banner crop

  • Display name spelling

  • Description clarity

  • Color contrast

  • Overall visual consistency

This review step helps catch small issues before users encounter them. Look closely for stretched images, cropped text, low contrast, or outdated wording.

If possible, preview the Metaverse on more than one screen size. A banner that looks correct on a large monitor may appear differently on a smaller display.

9. Save your changes if prompted

When everything looks correct, save your changes if EXR Manager prompts you to do so.

Do not navigate away from the page until the changes are saved. If there is a confirmation message, wait for it before closing the browser tab or moving to another section.

After saving, your users will see the updated branding when they access your Metaverse. If the changes do not appear right away, refresh the page and check again.

What success should look like

Once setup is complete, the Metaverse should clearly reflect your organization’s identity. Users should see the updated logo, banner, display name, description, and color choices when they enter or view the Metaverse.

A successful customization should feel clean and easy to recognize. The logo should be clear, the banner should display correctly, the description should explain the space, and the colors should support readability.

If anything looks off, return to the Metaverse section in EXR Manager and adjust the relevant setting. For more help, explore other EXR Manager Help Guides or contact Elite XR Support.
