How to Launch XR Modules in EXR Metaverse
Finding a training module is only useful if you can open it the right way. In EXR Metaverse, the XR Modules section shows the modules assigned to your account, along with the launch option available for each one.
This guide explains how to launch XR Modules in EXR Metaverse, what each launch button means, and what to do if a module is missing or shows an expired access message.

Before you start
Make sure your EXR Metaverse account is ready before opening a module. You need:
An active Metaverse account
Your Elite XR sign-in credentials
A module assigned to your account
An active seat for that module
If your organization added you as a user and you have not created your account yet, check the invitation sent after your administrator added you to EXR Manager. Follow that invitation first, then return to the Metaverse after your credentials are created.
The XR Modules page only shows training available to your account. If an expected module does not appear, the issue is usually related to assignment or seat access, not the module itself.
Step 1. Open the EXR Metaverse access page
Go to the EXR Metaverse access page:
Use this page when you need to reach the Metaverse dashboard and begin training. If you are learning how to launch a module training for the first time, starting from the correct access page helps avoid confusion with other EXR Manager areas.
Step 2. Sign in with your Elite XR credentials
Sign in using your Elite XR account credentials.
If you are a standard user, use the credentials you created after accepting your invitation. If you cannot sign in, confirm that you completed the invitation process and are using the correct email address connected to your organization.
After you sign in, the Metaverse dashboard will load with sidebar navigation.
Step 3. Select XR Modules in the sidebar
In the sidebar, select XR Modules.
This section contains the module cards available to your Metaverse account. Each card represents a training module that has been assigned to you, assuming the seat is still active.
If you do not see XR Modules, confirm that you are signed in to the correct account and that your Metaverse access has been set up by your organization.
Step 4. Find the module you want to launch
Browse the module cards or use search to locate the module.
Module cards help you identify the available training experiences. Search is useful when your account has several modules assigned or when you know the exact module name.
Open the module card once you find the training you want to start. The card will show the available launch option.
The launch method shown on the module card is the one available for that module. Do not assume every module includes both web and headset launch options.
Step 5. Review the launch option on the module card
The module card may show different launch options based on the type of training. Some modules open in a browser. Others are accessed through a headset using the Meta Store.
Use the button shown on the card rather than looking for a different launch method.
Module type | What to select | What happens next |
Web-based module | START | The module opens at its separate module address |
Headset-based module | Meta | The module opens through the Meta Store path |
Headset-based module with PIN | Meta, then follow the PIN instructions | The displayed PIN helps complete the access process |
Launch a web-based module
If the card shows START, select it.
The training opens at its separate module address. From there, follow the instructions inside the training experience. The module may include its own prompts, navigation, scenario setup, completion steps, or progress indicators.
This is the most direct path if you are looking for how to open a training course from the Metaverse in a browser. Start in XR Modules, select the module card, then use START when that option is available.

Launch a headset-based module
If the card shows a Meta button, select it to access the module through the Meta Store.
Some headset-based modules may also display a PIN beneath the Meta button. If a PIN appears, follow the instructions provided where it is shown. The PIN is part of the access process for that module, so use it exactly as directed.
A headset-based module may not offer a START button. That is expected when the module is designed for headset access rather than browser access.
If a module cannot be launched
A module may be unavailable for a few common reasons. Start by checking the message or state shown on the module card.
The card shows Access Expired
If the card displays Access Expired, the seat has expired. When a seat expires, the launch option becomes unavailable.
Contact your organization’s administrator and ask them to confirm the seat status. They can tell you whether access should be renewed, reassigned, or handled another way based on your organization’s setup.
The module does not appear in XR Modules
If the module is missing from XR Modules, ask your administrator to verify that the training has been assigned to your account.
A missing module usually means the account does not currently have access to that training. It may also mean you are signed in with the wrong account, especially if you use more than one email address.
The launch button is not the one you expected
The launch option is based on the module type. A web-based module uses START. A headset-based module uses Meta. Some headset modules may also require a PIN.
Use the launch method shown on the card. If the expected option is not present, confirm the module type with your administrator.
After you finish training
After completing a module, return to the Metaverse and open Performance.
The Performance section shows available session history and results connected to your training activity. If the module supports certificates and you completed it successfully, a certificate may be available there as well.
Certificate availability is based on the module. Not every training experience includes certificate support.
Quick checklist
Use this checklist when launching an XR Module:
Open the Metaverse access page https://xrmanager.elitexr.com/dashboard/metaverse
Sign in with your Elite XR credentials
Select XR Modules in the sidebar
Browse or search for the assigned module
Open the module card
Select START for a web-based module
Select Meta for a headset-based module
Follow any PIN instructions if a PIN appears
Contact your administrator if the card shows Access Expired
Ask your administrator to verify assignment if the module is missing
Once the module opens, follow the instructions inside the training experience. After training, return to Performance to review available results, session history, and any supported certificate.
